Thursday in Hawai'i

It was kind of an eclectic day on Thursday. We have been getting up really early and hanging out at John's. Then we usually head out around 10am. We took the long way down the mountain so we could stop at Lorraine's. She makes the best shaved ice and chocolate banana bread in Maui! Her shaved ice has soft serve ice cream in the bottom...yum! She has some local flavors that are amazing! We had shaved ice, a frozen chocolate covered pineapple and a chocolate covered banana bread ice cream sandwich.

After our snack, we drove some more down the mountain and stopped to walk this 1 mile trail. It was beautiful!

Having fun...check out the view!

A few weeks ago we celebrated our 3 year anniversary!

Again, the boys were being adventurous and climbed to the top of another cliff. When we were walking around, we felt so small. We were reminded of how big our God is.

Everywhere we looked, we saw beautiful landscapes

We had such a great time walking the trail. After our walk we drove to Lahaina (La-high-na) to eat lunch at Leilani's. They had some of the best fish tacos I have ever eaten...they rival the ones at Pure, and you all know how much I love Pure's fish tacos! From Leilani's, we walked to the beach and layed out for a few hours. It was really windy, so after we got tired of being pelted by sand, we walked to Whaler's Village to get some frozen yogurt. After yogurt (we ate a lot yesterday), we went to Whole Foods to get some snacks and some food for dinner. We headed back up the mountain, showered, ate dinner and went to sleep!
