The Times-Picayune, Tuesday

This morning on page 3 of the Sports Section, this picture was posted. The caption read: "Chris Reis shoves away wide receiver Adrian Arrington during a running drill at Saints camp on Monday."

The article to the left read:

In the Spotlight
Strong Safeties: Roman Harper, Peirson Prioleau and Chris Reis

The article talked about the three safeties and their roles on the team.

Here is what is said about Chris.

"Third-year safety Chris Reis might be in a battle with Prioleau for a roster spot. A special teams standout, Reis also has stood out because of his energy level and intensity, especially when he's blitzing from the safety position."

In the win against the Bengals Friday night, Chris had 3 tackles (according to NFL.com), but I'm pretty sure he had 5, but I might be a little biased. Anyway, the Saints came away with a 17-7 victory. They left today for Houston, where they will practice against the Texans for a few days before playing them on Saturday night. When the team returns, they break camp, so Chris will be back at home instead of at the hotel.

Please continue to pray for Chris and the other players. Chris rolled his ankle a little in the game, but God has been healing it day by day...he hasn't missed a practice! There have been several minor injuries and a few major ones. Just pray for health and safety for all the players.
