Bachelorette Weekend in June

In June, a little over a month before the wedding, I had Kelly and her bridesmaids down for a fun bachellorette weekend. Chris had just left for mini-camp, so we had the house to ourselves...with the doggies of course.

The girls arrived on Friday afternoon. After getting settled and having some snacks, we headed to All Fired Up in Alpharetta to paint pottery. Everyone picked out a piece to paint for Kelly and Jesse's new house. It took a long time to pick out the pieces and colors, but finally everyone decided and we spent the next few hours talking, laughing and painting. When we left All Fired Up, we headed back to our house for dinner and a movie. We had fajitas and margaritas and watched Bride Wars...super funny!

"What did you just say to me?"

On Saturday, we went up to the outlets for a little shopping and then to the Avenue. We were a little tired from all the shopping, but we cleaned up and headed to the Braves game...Kelly loves baseball! Our seats were in centerfield, about 7 rows back. The Braves lost to the Mets, but we had a great time! We all wore these buttons that I had found. Kelly's said "Bride to Be", mine said "Maid of Honor" and the others said "Bridesmaid". Lots of people commented on the buttons. Two guys said, "Don't do it, it's a trap!" We just laughed at them. Then there were these guys sitting two rows behind us that kept asking us if we were going out...literally, they asked us about 10 times. Finally, we told them we were going to Silverados (for those of you who don't know, that's a place in Nashville).

Lindsay (friend from HS), Me, Kelly, Kaitlyn (friend from HS)
and Allison (friend from HS and cousin) at the Braves game
(Bridget, Kelly's roommate from college couldn't be there)
We are wearing our buttons!

Here we are at All Fired Up...we are in the same order in both pictures...super crazy because we didn't plan it!

Here are the girls painting pottery. Supposedly this was a "stress-free zone", but some people at our table aren't too crafty, so there was a little stress. I won't name any names, you know who you are.

Kelly painted a plate with her and Jesse's initials.
It looks pastel, but when it fired it turned out a lot darker.

Here are the pieces after they were fired. The vase was done by Kaitlyn, the popcorn bowl by Allison, the coasters by me, the fruit serving bowl by Lindsay and the platter by Kelly. Everything turned out so cute!

We had such a great time! Bridget we missed you!
