Hiking Trips

While we were in Hawai'i we realized how much we enjoy hiking. When we returned, we took two different hiking trips in the North GA Mountains. Here are some pictures from the trip we took with Kevin and Lauren Bray to Raven Cliff (it's near Helen, GA).

This was the water fall at the top of the trail. Doesn't the water look creamy...Chris figured out how to slow down the camera to give the water this effect. I think it looks amazing!

Me and my boys...the boys love hiking!

We had just gotten back from Hawai'i a few weeks before, so we still had some of our tan left!

These pictures are from the hike that Chris and I took the boys on at Amicalola Falls. You have to climb some ridiculous number of stairs to get to the top of the waterfall, but we made it!

I love scenery pictures!

I don't know if you can read it, but the sign just above my head says, "Do not throw objects over the falls." Anytime I see a sign like this, I am reminded that someone had to do something (like throw an object over the falls) for this sign to be put up...silly people!

It was such a nice day for a hike!

Near the waterfall was a stream, so the boys stopped to get some water.

Since off season workouts started we haven't been on any more hikes, but maybe once Chris gets another break we can take a few more. Hiking is tons of fun, a great workout, and you get to experience parts of the state (North GA Mtns) or country (Hawai'i) you've never seen before (I sound like a commercial).
