Yesterday, the Saints began their 3-day mini-camp. This morning was the first practice that was open to the public. Maria Savage (Josh's wife, DE #95) and I went over to the facility to check it out.
They started off with special teams drills.
Then they jogged over to do DB drills.
Chris congratulates CB Anwar Phillips (#36) during drills.
Loyal Saints fans showed up to support the black and gold!
They ended practice with team offense/defense. Chris did well...breaking up a pass that drew some cheers from the crowd!
Practice was two hours in the 92 degree heat of Louisiana. They resume mini-camp this afternoon with an inside practice.
