Reflections from Cape San Blas

This year we decided to take our summer vacation at the beach. We left for Cape San Blas, FL on Saturday, June 14th. We chose Cape San Blas because it is one of the best dog friendly beaches in the nation. Cape San Blas is on a peninsula in the Gulf of Mexico about 50 miles south of Panama City.

The house that we rented was called "Reflections". This is the view from the beach.

We shared a boardwalk with three other houses. The sand dunes were the only thing separating us from the beach.
Kolsch loved sitting on the deck. It had a porch swing, picnic table and a baby gate to keep him from wandering down to the beach.

Here is a picture of the sand dunes at sunset.

Kevin and Lauren Bray (our small group leaders) joined us for the first few days.

We took these pictures after dinner on Monday night. There are only a few restaurants on the peninsula. We ate at Laggerhead's. It was a very trendy restaurant with amazing food. They served fresh homemade sangria and huge portions.

On Tuesday morning, it stormed, so we decided to work on a puzzle. It had two missing pieces.

This is the sunset from the last night. Matt and Lauren left earlier that day. We took Chris' dad and Celia back to Laggerhead's.
